Located in one of our favourite neighbourhoods (we’re looking at you, Silver Lake), Dinosaur may be new on the coffee shop scene, but it’s quickly become one of our favourites. Selling Fourbarrel organic coffee and putting on an interesting schedule of events has helped it to cement itself as a go-to destination.
Another Silver Lake hotspot, Intelligentsia may always be busy, but it’s worth elbowing your way to the counter for their made-to-order brews. Only selling in season coffee means that their flavours are always full and fresh, and that there is always something new on offer.
Originating from San Francisco, the iconic roasters now have several LA locations, but it’s their Arts District spot that we keep returning to. Taking over from Handsome Coffee Roasters last year, Blue Bottle had big shoes to fill but we quickly fell for their rotating series of blends and exclusive to LA Dandy Espresso.
